Nottingham Arena was declared open by Jayne Torvil in April 2000, and since then has gone on to host some of the biggest names in British and International live music, as well as being a leading venue for sporting events and all things ice related.

A seating capacity of 10,000 allows for a great atmosphere when watching anything from Amir Khan, Olympic boxing champion, to stand up comedy by the likes of Lee Evans, or special guests such as Cesar Millan, The Dog Whisperer.

The Arena itself is based inside the National Ice Centre, and is home of the Nottingham Panthers ice hockey team, who, along with some of the country’s best skaters, make full use of the UK’s first twin ice pad facility.

For anyone feeling a little flush, and wanting to guarantee a good seat away from the crowds, the Arena provides an exclusive VIP package. Offering a private suite, full waiting service, special entry to avoid queues, and much more, to create a truly luxurious experience. Also available at a premium is the Gold Star Ticket, giving the opportunity to reserve any seat for any concert, and being able to sit a stone’s throw away from your favourite act. For parties of 10 or more group bookings are also available on request.

Good transport links to Nottingham allow ready access to the Arena. Located in the old Lace Market, it is a short walk from the city centre city, and only 10 minutes from Nottingham station.

However, for those arriving by car the options are slightly more limited. The Arena does not have its own car park, and even dropping off, or picking up, people from outside can be a frustrating affair, as double yellow lines surround the building. Nevertheless there are a number of public car parks in close proximity; Fletcher Gate and Stoney Street are just 5 minutes away, and Nottingham has plenty of metered parking scattered throughout the city.

Disabled parking is available, and can be arranged by calling 0115 8533002.
